Join us on May 29th at Four Points by Sheraton for a reflective, skill‑building session designed to support the integration of foundational DEIB learning into everyday leadership and early years practice.
This half‑day experience includes:
Keynote: The Aware Leader — From Insight to Impact with Natalie Royer
This dynamic keynote is a compelling call to action for leaders. In one powerful hour, together we will make the undeniable case that the most significant driver of team performance, psychological safety, and retention is a leader's own self-awareness. We will challenge conventional thinking and inspire a new vision for leadership rooted in authenticity and emotional intelligence.
The session provides a clear and powerful framework that connects a leader's internal state to their external impact. We will introduce the three pillars of sustainable leadership- Self-Awareness, Healthy Boundaries, and Compassionate Communication- demonstrating how they are not just "soft skills," but strategic imperatives for building resilient, high-performing teams. This session is intentionally designed to be impactful, creating a powerful "aha" moment that leaves leaders hungry for the practical application and deeper work.
DEIB Microlearning & Facilitation with Strive
Following the keynote, Strive will introduce a series of five (5) microlearning videos designed to embed foundational DEIB practices across all professional roles. Strive will share how the videos were curated, walk through key themes, and provide facilitation strategies leaders can use when bringing this learning into their programs.
Grounded in principles of brave space, and exploring essential DEIB components such as accountability, language, and respect, Strive will guide leaders through an engaging and practical experience. Together, we will model a live facilitation using one of the microlearning videos, demonstrating how to guide dialogue, prompt reflection, and support effective conversations. This hands‑on segment equips leaders with tangible approaches to confidently facilitate similar conversations within their own teams.
This opportunity is open to leaders at all levels. Participants may register for either a morning or afternoon session.
Morning session (8:30 - 11:30 AM) participants will have breakfast provided.
Afternoon session (12:30 - 3:30 PM) participants will have lunch provided.
