Description:

Belvoir Co-operative Nursery School offers a nurturing and dynamic environment for children aged 2–12, including both our nursery and before-and-after school programs. We focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating space where children can grow, explore, and build lasting connections with peers and families.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)to join our team. The successful candidate will support children in our nursery and before-and-after school programs, working closely with families and colleagues to provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that meet Ministry standards and reflect our school’s values.

The days of work may vary, but hours will range between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM starting anytime between these hours. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of young children in a supportive environment.

Reliable transportation is a must, as we are located outside of city of London limits.

Salary will be established in accordance with the candidate’s education, experience, and demonstrated qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate programs for children in accordance with the Early Learning Framework and licensing requirements

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children

  • Observe, document, and assess children’s development and learning

  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Support children with diverse needs, including those with special requirements

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development

Qualifications

  • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation in Ontario

  • Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practices

  • Ability to plan and implement creative, play-based learning activities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Current CPR Level C and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start)

  • Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (CRV/VC)

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
