Guest Bio

Ally Scott (she/her) (left) is the manager of Strive and a Registered Early Childhood Educator with a BA in English Language and Literature from Western University. She also teaches part-time in the Early Childhood Education program at Fanshawe College. Ally brings well over a decade of experience in the early learning sector and for nearly eight years, she has been a key team member at Strive. At Strive, she is most proud of the collaborative and supportive team culture they’ve built. In addition to her professional roles, she is a dedicated mom to two young children—Mack (4) and Scottie (15 months)—who continuously inspire her work with children, families, and educators.

Kayla Bartlett (she/her) (right) is a registered Early Childhood Educator with an Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. She has been working within the child care and early years sector for 10 years with experiences ranging from full day childcare to before and after school programs and camps, to administrative and supervisory positions. Kayla first joined Strive as a Community Animator performing research to support the development of a local mentorship system. Now, as the Professional Learning Lead she oversees the development of our professional learning calendar in collaboration with the Strive Professional Learning Committee (PLC), curating learning opportunities aligned to community needs and supporting pedagogical growth.
