  • Scouts Canada - Bryson Centre (Oakridge Fire Pit) 531 Windermere Road London, ON, N5X 2T1 Canada (map)

Registration opens on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00 PM!

Facilitated by: The Strive Team

Be Well: Campfire Stories invites early years professionals to gather around a real campfire for an evening of connection, reflection, and community. In a profession rooted in relationships, care, and emotional presence, this is a space created just for you.

Storytelling has always been a way humans make meaning, build empathy, and strengthen community. This evening honours that tradition.

Gather under the open sky and around the fire as we share stories of all kinds:

  • Personal stories from practice

  • Made-up tales and creative storytelling

  • Favourite childhood stories

  • Folklore, traditional tales, or meaningful readings

  • Reflections that have shaped you as an educator

You can share a personal story, something playful and imaginative, or simply listen and soak in the experience. There is no pressure and no agenda, just connection.

Pedagogical Focuses: Belonging - Expression - Well-being

Standards of Practice: Standard I:  Caring and Responsive Relationships, Standard II:  Curriculum and Pedagogy, Standard III:  Safety, Health and Well-Being in the Learning Environment

The Strive Team is a collaborative group of early years professionals dedicated to supporting learning and growth to elevate effective practice.

Though we each have unique roles within the team, everyone at Strive works collaboratively to deliver thoughtful, intentional professional learning and services to London, Middlesex, and Elgin county.
