Join us for another ”Be Well” event, where we explore and reflect on all areas of self-care and personal wellness, from the emotional to the psychological, to the social, physical, and professional too.
Enjoy an evening in the garden (hello, golden hour!) - the perfect way to unwind and relax. We’ll take a tour of what is blooming, learn tips for cutting and arranging, and you’ll create a beautiful arrangement to take home.
What to bring: If you wish to bring some gardening gloves for when we cut flowers, you are welcome to. Howe Family Farms will provide scissors/snips and a vessel for you to make your arrangement in. Please dress for the weather! Wear appropriate footwear for walking through the garden (sand/soil).
Pedagogical Focuses: Belonging - Expression - Engagement - Well-Being
Standards of Practice: Standard I: Caring and Responsive Relationships
Howe Family Farms is a 5th-generation farm growing fruits, veggies, and more recently, cut flowers. They take great pride in growing in, and for, the local community. Over the past 5 years, they’ve been experimenting with different varieties of cut flowers and are thrilled to be able to share the magic of the farm garden with the community through workshops and events.
