MAKER SPACE NIGHT (DROP-IN)

  • Strive Maker Space 265 Maitland Street London, ON, N6B 2Y3 Canada (map)

Facilitated by: Liz Gannon, RECE and Lena Haider, RECE

Looking to add a personal, creative touch to your programming or classroom? While our Maker Space is open during Resource Centre hours year-round, Maker Space Night is a special opportunity to connect, chat, and craft alongside fellow early years professionals in a relaxed, collaborative setting.

The Maker Space will have materials to support bringing your ideas to life: a KitchenAid mixer for whipping up batches of playdough or sensory recipes, a Cricut machine for custom creations, a sewing machine, a single sheet laminator, and oodles of loose parts and craft materials.* Whether you're starting something new or putting the finishing touches on a project, this is your chance to make learning materials, visual supports, or classroom enhancements in a fun, collaborative space.

No creative experience is required. Just bring your curiosity and we’ll supply the tools and encouragement!

*Note: materials as listed above are available; however, users will need to bring any additional items they may need for their crafting and creating adventures.
