ZenTangle is a form of meditative pattern drawing.
It is possible to draw one of our patterns, called 'tangles', in 20 - 30 minutes once you have learned the basics. Many people shy away from learning ZenTangle when they hear it involves drawing. But ... if you can draw these 5 basic symbols: a straight line, a dot, a curved bracket shape, an oval, and an S shape, you can draw our patterns or tangles. We draw our tangles on 10 cm square ‘tiles’ made of watercolour paper. There are NO MISTAKES in ZenTangle, just new opportunities! The most significant benefit of drawing these tangles is the quieting of the mind while you focus on taking your time and doing your best as you draw one. You can look forward to drawing one during your coffee break. Come join us and 'draw peace from tangling'!
Pedagogical Focuses: Belonging - Engagement - Expression - Well-Being

Jill Barber discovered Zentangle in 2012 and fell in love with it immediately. Jill went to Providence R.l, along with 100 other people, to learn how to teach ZenTangle. About 15 - 20% of the class were from other countries around the world. There are over 8,000 CZTs now! There are many, many ZenTangle Facebook groups.
It is the most positive and supportive community Jill has ever been a part of. Hope you will join us if you like ZenTangle!
