Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children while supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through age-appropriate learning experiences. Montessori experience is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and Montessori-based activities.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play while ensuring their safety.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress.
Maintain accurate attendance and developmental records.
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
Support children's daily routines, including meals, rest periods, and hygiene.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and professional development.
Qualifications:
Current registration as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Montessori experience is preferred.
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
