Description:
Good Beginnings is a non-profit organization with a Board of Directors comprised of parents/guardians and community representatives, who are committed to providing high quality early learning and child care programs to the children and families of Oxford County since 1986. It is our mission to be a leader in the provision of quality child care programs, which are affordable and accessible to families in Woodstock and the surrounding communities, delivered by professional and caring Educators.
The successful candidates will provide care for children from birth to 12 years of age, in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings Day Nursery. The role of the successful candidates will be to fill in for employee absences, whether those absences are due to illness, vacation, or other breaks. Typically, there is no established pattern to work hours, and no regular hours are guaranteed. The majority of our programs operate from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm so shifts may fall anywhere within those hours. Supply opportunities are available at all of our 13 School Age Programs, as well as at our 4 Child Care Centres:

Qualifications:
We are seeking friendly, energetic and engaged individuals, who possess the following qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Worker, Recreation and Leisure, Educational Support Worker, Educational Assistant, Social Service Worker or Developmental Service Worker
A member in good standing of the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (if applicable)
Students studying in the above fields are also welcome to apply
Access to reliable transportation to work across various locations throughout Woodstock
Prior to starting, must possess:
Current Certification in Standard First Aid, including Infant and Child CPR
Current Police Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check acceptable to Good Beginnings
Safe Food Handling Certificate
