Little Lambs Daycare in Strathroy is excited to expand our team!

We are looking for Registered Early Childhood Educators to join our amazing educator team. If you are a Registered Early Childhood Educator, who cares about children, love to foster children’s uniqueness, growth and development, Little Lambs is the Childcare for you!

Job Duties Include:

  • Provide quality, compassionate, receptive care to children 0-6 years old.

  • Connect with families and children and maintain positive and nurturing relationships.

  • Plan and implement quality child-led activities based on curriculum, development and observations

  • Foster natural curiosity of the children, along side them

  • Understand and adhere to the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), the Ministry of Education, How Does Learning Happen document. and the Policies and Procedures of Little Lambs Daycare centre.

  • Must ensure adequate supervision, health and safety of the children at all times.

  • Open communication with coworkers and families.

  • Be professional and adhere to the confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma

  • Proof of Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Education

  • First aid and CPR

  • Up to date vaccinations

  • Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Food Handling Certificate
