Orchard Park is a non-profit, Parent Cooperative Nursery School that offers half day programming for children who are 2 to 5 years of age. It has been in the Orchard Park area for over 50 years. The Before and After School Program Educator, oversees child care programming for before school hours (approx. 6:45am – 9:00am), and for after school hours (approx. 2:45pm – 6:00pm). The successful candidate will provide care for children (3.8 years to 12 years of age) in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings. They will follow the Program Statement, Confidentiality Agreement, policies established by the Board of Directors, and regulations under the Child Care and Early Years Act.

The successful candidates will provide care for children from birth to 13 years of age, in a group setting under the direction of Good Beginnings Day Nursery. They will also ensure that they are integrating Good Beginnings’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging values into their environment. Positions are available at all of our 13 School Age Programs, as well as at our 4 Child Care Centres.

The Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children within the Childcare Centre. The RECE will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate programs and activities that foster learning and development, supporting the emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of each child.
