Description:

At CEY Childcare London Centre, our philosophy is rooted in the Montessori approach, where every child is respected as an individual and supported in developing independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We believe in creating a prepared environment that fosters freedom within limits, hands-on exploration, and meaningful connections with teachers and peers.

We are seeking passionate Montessori-trained Early Childhood Educators to guide children through their learning journey in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement Montessori-inspired, child-centered learning activities.

  • Create a prepared environment that supports independence, exploration, and discovery.

  • Guide children with respect, patience, and encouragement, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth.

  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children.

  • Observe, document, and assess each child’s development to support individualized learning.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and build strong relationships with families.

  • Maintain compliance with CCEYA and CEWELCC guidelines while staying true to Montessori principles.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.

  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).

  • Montessori training/certification (preferred).

  • Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C).

  • Current Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening).

  • Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).

  • Experience in Montessori or play-based early learning is an asset.
